Guardian Angel

  • Joseph Haydn: Sonata in C minor, Hob. XVI:20
  • Johannes Brahms: 3 Intermezzi, Op. 117
  • Franz Liszt: Bénédiction de Dieu dans la Solitude

This program is intended to represent the spiritual and psychological culmination of my musical studies over the past nine consecutive years: four years at Lipscomb University, and five years at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

In addition to the fact that this is based on my Meditations program that exchanges the Haydn sonata for J. S. Bach’s E-flat minor prelude and fugue from WTC I, recent events have modified not only my outlook on life, but also my introspective understanding of how I have evolved during this journey. I do not feel the urge to prove anything with this program; technical prowess is not the objective here. I hope to instead translate the effects of my musical and spiritual evolution through these meditative works.

I was able to complete this production using HitFilm Express 16, with rendering times…

Victoria Bond: “Black Light”

In the Fall of 2020, I had the privilege of working with Dr. Madeline Rogers to create the first-ever two piano reduction of Victoria Bond’s “Black Light” Piano Concerto. Thanks to the composer, the hard work of creating the reduction was mostly completed. However, a digital format of this reduction had not yet been created,…
